New Arrival – Felt!

I received my first order of wool blend felt. I am so excited! I can’t wait to see what crafty creations I can make with all this felty goodness. I also ordered and received the book,
There really are some super-cute ideas. But my first felt project will be some form of  Limeriot’s Fall leaves for the Craft Sheep September Color Challenge.
Do you work with felt and if so, what is your favorite book or blog about felt?

  1. Beautiful colors! I have never tried the wool blend felt – it looks wonderful.-Kim

  2. Kim, It feels so much softer than the inexpensive acrylic felt from the craft store. I am planning to get started on a project tomorrow!

  3. HOW CUTE! I love how you wrapped the wreath. Earlier this summer, I helped my tween granddaughters make felt flowers to decorate a wreath and it turned out so cute. Thanks for your inspiration. Happy Crafting!

  4. I'm really loving felt at the moment, every other post on my blog (http://www.loopyjess.co.uk/) seems to be about it at the moment! My favourite supplier for all things felt has to be paper-and-string (http://paper-and-string.blogspot.com/) and her craft blog is also full of wonderful felt goodness. My favourite felt book is fa la la la felt – fabulous and so many beautiful felt projects that I wish I had more hours in the day to work through.

  5. Thanks for the info, Jessica. I will definitely check out your supplier and the book. And I am heading over to see what you have been up to. 🙂
